About our editions
Every ScoreMarket edition is the result of hours of meticulous crafting of what could be described as an Urtext musical score. We manually input the composer or artist's original music into our high-grade music engraving software, referencing a variety of sources to achieve a result that is true to the composer or artist's original intentions.
From there, our editors work on producing a performable version of the score, verifying details and updating the style of engraving to match our 'house style' - the style that makes ScoreMarket editions unique and unlike any other editions out there.
We prepare the full score and parts for each instrument in the edition, as well as useful extras such as vocal scores, for larger works. Once everything is OK, we publish the edition to our online store where you can purchase and download it as a .zip archive file, containing PDFs of the sheet music.
